Our services

• Verify and approve projects for public and private power supply throughout Switzerland and Liechtenstein such as:
• High-voltage cable
• High-voltage overhead lines
• Transformer stations
• Switchgear
• Converters
• Power generation plants
• Low-voltage distribution units in protected areas

The installations must meet the recognized technical regulations in all aspects concerning safety. However, the inspections will be mindful of the demands and interests of environmental protection, nature and landscape protection, and regional planning.

Those high-voltage overhead lines and cables that are designed to convey a voltage of 220 kV or higher also require an environmental impact assessment. Other preconditions include a sectorial planing proceeding.

An acceptance inspection will be carried out as soon as we have notified about the completion of installations.
