Economic operators shall monitor the market in order to verify whether low-voltage products and Ex-products they have made available on the market or placed on the market comply with the provisions of these Ordinances if this appears necessary in view of the risks to health and safety associated with the equipment concerned.

If they should ascertain that a product does not comply with the relevant provisions, they shall take the necessary measures and, to the extent necessary in consideration of the involved risks, shall immediately notify ESTI about the identified shortcomings and the measures they have taken.
